Quick vs Full
Two scopes: Quick crawls up to 50 pages breadth-first — right for routine checks — while Full walks your sitemap and audits up to 500 pages for the deep pass. Both run in the background; you can watch progress and history (your last 12 runs feed a trend line).
No site verification needed. The audit reads only public data — your pages, your robots.txt, public performance metrics — so you can run it on any client site without an ownership step.
What it checks
Per page: structured data (JSON-LD), FAQ content, H1 present and single, content depth (at least ~300 words), heading hierarchy, meta description presence and length, title length, canonical URL, image alt coverage, Open Graph tags, mobile viewport, and HTML language attribute.
Site-level, for AI readiness: whether your robots.txt allows the live-answer AI bots — ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot — where a block is a scored failure (those bots fetch pages to answer live questions). Training bots (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot, Google-Extended) are reported for information but never scored — blocking those is a policy choice, not a defect. It also checks for an llms.txt file and a sitemap.
Performance: Core Web Vitals — lab and field metrics including LCP, CLS, FCP, TBT, TTFB, and INP.
Reading the results
Results are grouped into Overview, Web Vitals, AI Readiness, On-Page, Top Pages, and Action Plan. The health score (0–100, grade A from 90 down to F) averages only measured pages; every check carries a verdict of Pass, Warn, Fail, Not measured, or Info. A "—" always means not measured — never a guessed zero, and no traffic, backlink, or keyword estimates are mixed in.
The action plan
Only failures and warnings make the plan, with site-level criticals ranked first — so the list is genuinely "do this next", not an inventory of everything the audit looked at.
Exporting
Once a run completes, Export report produces the Technical Audit PDF — a separate document from the visibility report in Reports.
